Massive, Permanent Sardine Shoal: Witness the core highlight: millions of sardines forming a dense, swirling, shimmering "bait ball" that moves in incredible, synchronized patterns (a true underwater ballet).
Shore Accessibility: It is one of the few places in the world where a major sardine run is consistently viewable just a few meters from the shore (no boat trip required). Entry is typically via stairs/ramp from the cliff.
Year-Round Phenomenon: Unlike other seasonal sardine runs, the population at Napaling is resident, making the spectacle available all year.

Mandatory Guide Fee: Whether you book a package or walk in, a local accredited guide is often mandatory for safety and site management, even for experienced swimmers. This fee (approx. ₱100–₱200) is usually paid on-site.
Entrance Fees: All visitors must pay the required Entrance Fee (approx. ₱200–₱300) and Environmental Fee upon arrival, usually collected by the resort/center providing access to the cliff/stairs.

Water Confidence: While life vests and guides are available, basic comfort and confidence in the open water are highly recommended for the best experience.
Non-Swimmers: Non-swimmers can still participate using a life vest and constant assistance from the mandatory local guide. However, visibility and maneuverability may be limited compared to a strong swimmer.
Gear: Snorkeling gear is available for rent on-site or included in package tours. You are encouraged to bring your own if you have it, for hygiene and comfort.

Best Time: The sardine run is a year-round phenomenon, but the experience is best in the early morning (7:00 AM – 10:00 AM) for optimal sunlight and calm water.
Weather Dependency: The activity is weather-dependent. Tours may be cancelled or shortened due to poor sea conditions (strong winds, heavy rain, or large waves) for safety.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled due to weather, you will typically be offered a reschedule or a full refund. If you cancel for personal reasons outside the free cancellation window (often 48-72 hours), charges may apply.
